A quick way for agency employees to “meet” new hires, Fresh Faces is issued the Thursday of new employee orientation week. It features the new hire’s name, title, photograph, and a brief description of his or her background and interests.

Occurring twice per year, these meetings essentially cover our recent past and our vision for the future, both short-term and long-term. Speakers are culled from the leadership of the agency who address matters such as our financial performance, agency initiatives, and a review of our work. For Chicago, the spring agency meeting is used to present an overview of our recently completed fiscal year and celebrate milestone employee anniversaries. Chicago’s winter meeting, typically taking place around the holidays, focuses upon a recap of the previous year, a look at some of our work, and awarding of our year-end awards. However, each office in our network conducts their own company meetings that address their specific situations.

Conducted two times per year (once per quarter), these meetings are an opportunity for the key leaders within the agency to get together, discuss the state of the agency and the challenges ahead, and begin discussions of how those challenges will be faced. Their content is broad in scope and cover issues that are affecting our industry as a whole or Frankel as an agency.

The Executive Committee meets each month to determine the vision and corporate strategy for the agency.
