NewsBriefs is published monthly for Frankel managers. It serves as a resource for supervisors to locate the tools and information they need to better serve our clients and manage their people. the format consists of one or two paragraphs—news bites that provide a top-line overview of each issue/announcement/client program. If appropriate, readers are referred to a cc:mail bulletin board for additional information. Highlights from Company, Executive and Senior Management meetings will be included regularly.


During employee orientation, we typically tell new hires that if they read only one thing that is distributed to them, it should be HotNews. This electronically transmitted correspondence covers pressing matters that every employee should know and shares such information as new business wins, issues about our physical environment (e.g. computer network maintenance), benefits information, or other immediate concerns. HotNews is issued on an as-needed basis.


Trying to find Frankelites with specific experience in their backgrounds? Want to organize an informal focus group among employees? cc:Mail announcements are traditionally sent to all employees as a way to seek help in specific areas. These type of announcements are different than a HotNews announcement in that the content does not affect all employees within the agency.


The source for any other type of information our employees need, different bulletin boards have been established to communicate such things as employee programs, people news about Frankelites, events of note, or news from any of our network offices. The benefit of these boards is that this information is available as people need it and can be continually posted in order to allow them a reference for information that is useful year-round.
