Few photographers have helped shape the visual style of Playboy magazine as much as contributing photographer David Chan.

For David's first assignment, he assisted legendary photographer Pompeo Posar in shooting the 1965 opening of the Los Angeles Playboy Club. His artistic eye and warm personality made him a natural. David's career with Playboy quickly took off and still flourishes today.

While David has photographed his share of Playmates throughout his 34-year career with Playboy, he is best known for his "Girls of...." pictorials. Few people have logged as many miles traveling throughout the United States in search of beautiful women. David is a master of natural light photography and has the ability to turn any location into a perfect pictorial setting. He has searched many of Americas' college campuses looking for "the girl next door" that Playboy has built its reputation on. I was fortunate enough to work alongside David on his most recent "Girls of the Pac 10" assignment. David continues to work with the confidence and stamina of a man half his age. His models' trust in his artistic vision allows David to bring home beautiful photographs every time.
